Įgyvendindama tarptautinį „Erasmus+“ projektą „STEM ekosistemos įvairinimas“ (Nr. 2024-1-LV01-KA220-SCH-000250755), Panevėžio švietimo centro ir jo padalinių – Panevėžio regioninio STEAM atviros prieigos centro ir robotikos centro „Robolabas“ komanda parengė strateginį dokumentą „STEM ekosistemos plėtros strategija“, kuris yra svarbi projekto dalis.

Strategijoje apibrėžti aiškūs tikslai, prioritetai ir veiksmai, kuriais siekiama didinti mokinių susidomėjimą STEM mokslu bei kurti įkvepiančią, šiuolaikišką ir palaikančią mokymosi aplinką. Ypatingas dėmesys skiriamas lygioms galimybėms. Siekiama, kad vis daugiau jaunų žmonių, ypač mergaičių, rinktųsi karjerą STEM srityse.

„Norime užtikrinti, kad kiekvienas mokinys galėtų mokytis aplinkoje, kurioje įgytų ne tik naujų žinių, bet ir lavintų kūrybišką, kritinį mąstymą, ugdytų verslumo įgūdžius bei rinktųsi įdomų ir ateities galimybes atveriantį kelią“, – sako šio projekto koordinatorė Vaida Repovienė.

Strategijos kūrimas vyko glaudžiai bendradarbiaujant su šiame projekte dalyvaujančiomis šalimis – Suomija, Latvija, Graikija ir Lenkija. Taip pat buvo atsižvelgta į mokytojų, švietimo ekspertų ir mokinių nuomonę, įvertinta esama situacija ugdymo įstaigose.

Tikimasi, kad šio dokumento įgyvendinimas prisidės prie ugdymo kokybės gerinimo, mokinių motyvacijos stiprinimo bei turės ilgalaikį poveikį jaunimo profesiniam tobulėjimui.

Panevėžio švietimo centras nuo 2024 m. spalio 1 d. iki 2026 m. gruodžio 31 d. įgyvendina Europos Sąjungos programos „Erasmus+“ 2-ojo pagrindinio veiksmo (KA2) mokyklinio ugdymo bendradarbiavimo partnerystės projektą „STEM ekosistemos įvairinimas“ Nr. 2024-1-LV01-KA220-SCH-000250755. Implementing the international Erasmus+ project “Diversifying the STEM Ecosystem” (No. 2024-1-LV01-KA220-SCH-000250755), the team of the Panevėžys Education Centre and its units – the Panevėžys Regional STEAM Open Access Centre and the robotics centre “Robolabas” – has prepared a strategic document titled “STEM Ecosystem Development Strategy,” which is an important part of the project.

The strategy defines clear goals, priorities, and actions aimed at increasing students’ interest in STEM subjects and creating an inspiring, modern, and supportive learning environment. Special attention is given to equal opportunities. The aim is to encourage more young people, especially girls, to pursue careers in STEM fields.

“We want to ensure that every student can learn in an environment where they not only gain new knowledge but also develop creative and critical thinking, strengthen entrepreneurial skills, and choose an exciting path that opens opportunities for the future,” says the project coordinator Vaida Repovienė.

The creation of the strategy involved close cooperation with the countries participating in the project – Finland, Latvia, Greece, and Poland. The opinions of teachers, education experts, and students were also taken into account, as well as the current situation in educational institutions.

It is expected that the implementation of this document will contribute to improving the quality of education, strengthening student motivation, and having a long-term impact on the professional development of young people.

Since October 1, 2024, until December 31, 2026, the Panevėžys Education Centre has been implementing the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, Key Action 2 (KA2), a school education cooperation partnership project “Diversifying the STEM Ecosystem,” No. 2024-1-LV01-KA220-SCH-000250755.
